Dry Tea Leaf:

Appearance: The leaves are slender, open long leaf type. It is predominantly dark greenish hue with some silver tips.

Fragrance: The fresh tea leaves of spring from this iconic garden has aroma of freshly baked biscuits and floral sweet notes.

Liquor:

Appearance: Clear and bright shades of the lemon.

Fragrance: Fragrance of musk coupled with unique floral sweetness peculiar only to castleton first flush tea along with subtle floral notes is present in the liquor.

Flavour: A smooth tea with a feel good mild astringency pleases the senses, followed by notes of spices and tropical citrus. A complex mellow sweet sensation just like honey and baked biscuits lingers for a while as an aftertaste.

Castleton is the place where the best chinary teas are grown. This garden is located in South Valley of Kurseong, which has china bushes and is famed for the best Muscatels teas the world has known. This garden was formerly knwon as Kumseri. Elevation of this garden is from 100 meters to 2300 meters.
